Being at the beach this weekend, I've got vacation on the brain. Or maybe it's the trip we have planned next weekend WITHOUT children that has me wanderlusting. Either way, the links that have caught my attention are all about the next getaway.

Anyway, back to vacations. I have a girls trip coming up in August to Portland and I am using this travel guide combining lists and scrapbooking ideas. Great encouragement to get those vacation photos off of your device and into your hands. (Thanks for the gift, John!)

Traveling with children is made SO much easier with this vacation rental site geared towards families. It lists items like high chairs or even bath toys, why kids would like it, and what age children are best. And the homes are BEAUTIFUL. They take you all around the world so if you need inspiration for where to travel next, just fall down the rabbit hole of this beautiful website. Obviously I got lost in Provence and Tuscany.  

Next week when we head to New Orleans, this will be a great resource for finding the Austin cool in the Crescent City. The Bloody Mary walk will be happening.  

Finally my sister's video has me planning the next family vacation in San Fran. Also, I will be hiring her to follow our family around. 

But if she can't come with us, I think I will finally try this 1 Second Every Day video app to document a vacation in the Freestyle mode.  

The rain has gone away and the sun is out so off to the beach we go!
