Postcard from Today//vol. 1 Beach Babes

Awhile back when I first starting blogging I would just do a quick check in with a photo and an update. "Snapshots" I called them. I liked that style. I'm bringing it back.  A practice in simplification. 

We only live a few hours from the ocean shore. So why has it been two and a half years since we waded into these waters, squished our toes beneathe the the sand, fell hypnotized to the steady beat of the waves against a never ending horizon?

No matter. We're correcting that now. For the next few days I will be that lady on the beach struggling to get just one good photo while these two are forever smitten with the mesmerizing beauty that only the ocean breeze can bring. Only a couple hours in and my photo roll is already full of pictures with not a single child looking at me. But they are smiling. I promise. And I am too. We needed this.
