A Child's Faithful Journey

I talk on this blog frequently about how I am growing and learning. My faith journey is a driving leader of that growth.  One of the decisions we have made as parents is also encouraging our children's faith journey. We do this through modeling, discussion, Christian education, and teaching our children God's greatest commandment, to Love. You can read today over on A Tale of Two Mamas the beginning of Elliott's lifelong journey. It's a lesson we can all learn in growing. It's not just the parents that encourage our children to grow. We need a whole community to walk with our children and I am so thankful I don't have to do this alone. Elliott's beautiful baptism shared in word and pictures.

Also, P.S. For those who enjoy the details, be sure to take note of the baptismal outfit which was a hand me down suit from my brother's baptism and a bow tie made from Mike's mother's wedding dress, tying both loving families together as one. It was adorable!
